This macro is not for the faint at heart. It can be used throughout all skins of your site and renders the skin referred to with the name parameter, e.g.

For example, the story skins "preview" and "full story" use this macro to embed the "display" skin:

<% story.skin name="display" %>

Please be aware that the embedded skin must be available from within the skin you are entering the macro. E.g. you cannot call the "poll results" skin from within a file skin (and vice versa).

Furthermore, this macro might only make sense in certain places. So think very well before you randomly add this macro somewhere.

Use this macro to display a link to toggle the story's online state:

<% story.onlinelink mode="toggle" %>

With the image parameter you also can display an appropriate image as eye-catcher for the action:

<% story.onlinelink mode="toggle" image="onlinebutton" %>

Use this macro to display a link to the story's (or comment's, resp.) edit form. The text parameter enables you to customize the default link text:

<% comment.editlink text="edit this comment" %>

With the image parameter you also can display an appropriate image as eye-catcher for the edit action:

This macro only makes sense in the edit skin for images (section "editor skins" in the skin editor) and in the skins for the imagepool (section "previews and lists"). It will display the full size image by default, althouth you can use

<% image.show what="thumbnail" %>

to display the thumbnail (if the image has a thumbnail). Remember that thumbnails will be generated automatically by Antville if the uploaded image-dimensions exceed 100px (width or height).

In any case this macro will render the image as link to the detail page of the image (which shows the code to use for inserting the image plus name, alternate text and the creators name).

This macro renders the name of the user group allowed to edit this story as set previously, e.g. contributors, subscribers etc.

If the parameter "as" is set to "editor", the output is rendered as drop-down box containing the several user groups for selection:
